We are a group of friends, cousins and partners who share a love of great music, fine food, craft brews and good family times. In October 2021, while kicking back at a beachside music festival on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, we heard tales of an opportunity to acquire 2 unique neighbouring properties in Kia Ora, half way between Gympie and Tin Can Bay.

The first property was the Silky Oak ‘Tea’ Gardens – a rustic country pub, restaurant and craft(y) brewery, hidden within a tropical Oasis.

The 2nd property was the adjacent ‘Sublime’ lime Orchard.

It seemed too great an opportunity to pass up – a chance to combine our passions and talents on an exciting project in God’s own Country.

On first inspection we were taken by the charm and character of the place. The orchard featured big, juicy limes, as far as the eye could see. A Koala (Keith) was enjoying a feed and platypus played in the creek. And colourful characters, who apparently still ride horses to the pub, watched us warily from the ‘tea’ gardens, as if their secret was out.

Fast forward to early 2022 and we are suddenly on a new journey, called ‘Sublime Farm and Brewery’ – live music venue, good food, craft brew, camping on site and great locals.  We have lots of ideas and it’s going to be an exciting ride.  As we continue to grow as a live music venue we are supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.

We offer lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.  Be sure to check out our gig guide on the upcoming bands coming to our venue.

The final destination remains a bit of a mystery but we know it will involve great music, good food, craft brews and plenty of good times and laughs – all with a sublime twist.  Come and visit us – a place to relax your soul with good food and great music.
